Using Library Databases for Research

To find empirical research articles in APA PsycInfo (through EBSCOhost):

  • Click the above link to open PsycInfo
  • Type your keywords into the search boxes
  • If necessary, add a search box by clicking the "+" below your other search fields for additional keywords
  • Scroll down the page to "Methodology" and select EMPIRICAL STUDY
  • If needed, choose other limits, such as Publication Date, Age Groups, etc.
  • Click on the "Search" button
