Study Rooms are located on the 2nd floor of the library. Rooms 214-219 are the Group Study Rooms and are located on the west wall, adjacent to the elevator. Rooms 220-225 are the Individual Study Rooms and are located on the south wall, adjacent to the PT-Z shelving area. (If you go up the stairs, these areas will be to your left. If you use the elevator, these areas will be to your right.)
The Extended Study Room is a large, multipurpose space that is open to AC students 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The room is adjacent to the library's entrance (just inside the sliding doors to the left), and requires a valid Austin College ID for entrance after opening hours. This is a safe workspace available to all students that is equipped with private study carrels, collaborative group spaces, computer workstations, printers, and a copier. Restroom access is available.
You can get the digital edition of The New York Times for free! See this page to find out how.
If you think there is a book or film that the library doesn't (but should) have in its collections, let us know! Simply submit a Library Material Suggestion Form so we can consider your suggestion. Contact Interim Library Director Andrew Smith with any questions.
